Holiday fun to help kids! 

To kick off the holiday season, community leaders hosted the 5th Annual Children’s Chair-ity Event at The Dolce in Peachtree City on December 1st. Over $50,000 was raised to help the boys and girls who live in the cottages at The Children’s Village at Christian City.

More than 100 sponsors including Coweta-Fayette EMC, GreyStone Power, Georgia Power, Nestle Purina, BB&T Reese Insurance, Lexus of South Atlanta, the Tim Hudson Foundation, and The Dolce Atlanta helped to make the event a success. The Santa’s Workshop Silent Auction was perfect for Christmas shopping with over 80  items donated by local artists and businesses. Volunteers, lead by committee Chair Angela Bean, worked for an entire year making this signature benefit one that guests would enjoy. 

Christian City has been caring for abandoned and abused children in a family centered residential setting since 1965.
